And now, the Star Trek Christmas song

Tis the season to listen to the Star Trek Christmas song, created using various clips from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Looking for a little holiday spirit? Then we have just the clip for you.

This clip is actually a few years old, but ‘tis the season for stuff like this. And given that 2016 has been a right kick to the balls for so, so many of us, we need all the holiday spirit we can squeeze out of this season. Like Angela Lansbury sang, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute.

Speaking of, can someone check on Angela Lansbury? 2016 has been brutal to celebrities, and given that there are still a few weeks left there are probably a few grim surprises left.

Anyway, the clip was popularized in 2013 thanks to a post from George Takei and his massive Facebook following. I did some searching for the original creator with no luck – if anyone knows who created it, please let me know and I’ll update the post accordingly.

Whoever put it together, props to them. Although the words used are fairly common for Star Trek: The Next Generation, but they are taken from dozens of episodes over the show’s seven years.

So check it out below and join us in the new holiday tradition of telling Wesley to shut up.
