This is what Ghost Recon Wildlands looks like, and why you should be excited
E3 is just a few short weeks away, and the push from developers to prime the press and fans has begun. To whit, behold the newest trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands, the newest entry in the long-running Ghost Recon franchise. The game will have a big presence at the upcoming E3, so expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks.
Wildlands was first introduced at E3 2015, so it makes sense that its next major turn in the spotlight happens at E3 2016. It’s sort of like coming home for the franchise. Plus, with no Assassins Creed game this year, Far Cry Primal and The Division already out, and no word on other classic Ubisoft franchises like Splinter Cell confirmed (don’t be surprised to hear an announcement on that soon), Wildlands will have a big presence at E3 2016.
The trailer also came with the announcement of four versions of Ghost Recon Wildlands on the way:
Standard Edition available for $59.99 – Take down the cartel, become a ghost and explore Bolivia. A few years from now, Bolivia has become the largest cocaine producer in the world. As a Ghost, you must stop the cartel by any means necessary. Create and fully customize your Ghost, weapons, and gear. Lead your team and take down the cartel, either solo or with up to three friends.
Deluxe Edition available for $69.99 – Includes the Standard Edition and the digital Deluxe Pack which includes: the Huntsman rifle and motorbike, three emblems, three weapon camo, three character customization items and a XP booster.
Gold Edition available for $99.99 – Includes the Deluxe pack and Seasons Pass content, giving players access to two major expansions as well as exclusive digital content featuring equipment packs, an exclusive vehicle and epic weapons.
Collector’s Edition Standard available for $119.99, Deluxe available for $129.99 and Gold available for $159.99 – Includes the edition of your choice with a Santa Muerte figurine and collectible posters designed by Ken Taylor.
Check out the trailer below. We will be reporting live from E3 in June, so expect to hear more about this game and others soon.
