Here’s what the ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ season pass gets you
It’s become the norm now for many games to offer a season pass that contains several pieces of planned DLC under a package, and Call of Duty is a pioneer when it comes to that. With the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare just a few weeks away, here’s a look at what you’ll get if you decide to take the plunge and purchase the Season Pass.
As with the previous Call of Duty season passes you’ll receive four scheduled map packs, along with a few additional bonuses, including an exclusive map available at launch called “Atlas Gorge” and early access to DLC weapons.
The four map packs are listed as: Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning. As for Atlas Gorge, check out the trailer below for a closer look at it, and a general idea of what to expect from this year’s edition of the Call of Duty multiplayer.
The timed exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft remains in place, so those playing on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will have access to the DLC before those on the PlayStation family consoles and PCs. If the previous deal is the same, expect a delay of around a month.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 3 if you purchase the Day Zero Edition, and November 4 for everyone else.
