Choose your ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ followers wisely
Nobody expects the Dragon Inquisition! Its chief weapon is choice… choice and the companions you choose. Its two weapons are choice, the companions you choose… and the upgrade tree you follow. Its three weapons… (I could do this all day).
With Dragon Age: Inquisition less than a month away, it’s getting close to decision time for RPG fans. Electronic Arts and BioWare’s newest offering may already have enough to offer based on reputation alone to get you interested, but the real questions is whether or not you are prepared to abandon the real world for days, even weeks, as you become immersed in it. More than a few showers and meals were sacrificed at the altar of BioWare’s Mass Effects series, not to mention the previous Dragon Age games, and Inquisition seems to be very much in the same vein.
Along with what is likely a lengthy story, the game also promises larger environments than the previous Dragon Age games. You can also expect multiple playable races, and the choice to play as a man or woman.
Inquisition is an action RPG similar to the previous games. You take a character and mold them to your style, beginning with the type of gameplay you want to focus on, then fine tune it though upgrades earned through experience. You also attract followers, which is what the trailer below highlights.
By the way, the trailer uses actual in-game footage if you were curious.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 3,PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 18. You may want to go ahead and take the next week or two of work. The coworkers that sit close enough to smell you will thank you for it.
