‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ goes live action for the launch
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches next week, and if you are interested in the series then you probably already know everything you need to know about it. Assuming you are a fan, your pre-order is already in, you’re fridge is stocked with Red Bull, and your boss will understand that your “cough” may lead to a sick day next Tuesday. If you are on the fence about it though, or if you just want to hype yourself up a bit more, check out the new live action trailer below.
If the previous trends are any indication, Advanced Warfare is going to do very, very well. It may not steal back the title of biggest game ever from the phenomena that is Grand Theft Auto V, but odds are the Activision execs will be able to purchase those platinum grills they’ve had their eyes on.
As for the trailer, it stars Taylor Kitsch and Emily Ratajkowski. The clip highlights what it would be like if the action were real – and while the game is certainly fantastical, the technology isn’t actually that far removed from reality. Exosuits are very much in development, and the rise of private military organizations are a very real thing.
But real world consequences aside, the trailer highlights the fun the new tech promises. Check it out and look for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game will be released on November 4 around the world, but those that purchased the Day Zero Edition will have access on November 3.
