A possibly drunk Deadpool trolls the X-Men on Halloween
Ryan Reynolds really, really seems to be enjoying his time as Deadpool. It’s a character he fought to bring to the big screen for years, and for good reason. The character fits Reynolds’s style of humor, it gives him another chance with the character after the awful X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and it may help people forget his other attempt at a comic character, Green Lantern.
Even though filming has long since concluded for the film, Reynolds is still enjoying his time in character. If you need proof of that, check out the clip below from Halloween, where Reynolds took to the playgrounds to troll the X-Men.
And to be fair, if the X-Men did exist in real-life, this would be some expert trolling. Since they don’t though, it’s basically just a guy in a red suit making fun of a bunch of kids. Don’t feel bad for the wee lil’ angels though, they troll Reynolds right back.
Check out the clip below, which was hopefully staged. If not, there are probably some upset parents wondering why a possibly drunk man in a tight red suit is hanging out in playground at night, talking to a group of unaccompanied children.
You have to give Reynolds credit for delving deep into the role. This will be his third attempt as a superhero (well, second if you count Origins version of Deadpool). Hopefully this will be the one that works.
You can see how well Reynolds’s passion for the character translates to the big screen, when Deadpool hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
