What happens when 1,000 Deathclaws fight 10 liberty primes? Just what you’d think

1,000 Deathclaws fight 10 liberty primes

If you’re playing Fallout 4 on the PC, then you know you can get a little wacky with the game. And that’s saying something for a game that already has random alien encounters, secret laboratories, and even the bar from Cheers.

Among other things, the modding allows you to take NPCs from the game and manipulate them. You can make Deathclaws into companions, set up battles, and – in one of the cooler examples – have 1,000 Deathclaws fight 10 liberty primes while you watch on like a mad god, cackling as your your puppets live and die for your amusement.

The clip was picked up by Kotaku, but it is actually just the latest in a series of videos from YouTube poster “EzPlays”. In the past few months, he has released 17 clips, most of which feature incredible battles between characters from the game. Ghouls fight mutants, aliens take on Deathclaws, the Brotherhood fights super mutants, etc., etc. This may be the coolest though.

The fight is fairly insane. On one hand you have 1,000 of the most powerful organic enemies the Fallout series has to offer. They are killing machines, designed to ruin your day. They are sort of like shaved bears on steroids crossed with baby dinosaurs. They also start out the fight with the advantage of surrounding their opponent.

On the other side, you have ten of the most powerful technological weapons ever created in the post-apocalyptic world. If you played Fallout 3 through to the end, then you know just how powerful they can be.

The fight isn’t long, but it is wacky, and it highlights why Fallout 4 is so cool. Check it out below.
